ENRICHMENT

SGA Academy Oldham > ENRICHMENT

ENRICHMENT

At SGA, our curriculums have been designed to embed enrichment within each subject, and across all school systems. Enrichment provides pupils with the much-needed opportunities to think deeper, develop transferrable and lifelong skills, and explore their creativity.

Enrichment within individual curriculums is embedded to-

  • Encourage curiosity, interest and fascination in the subject area thus increasing it’s impact
  • Developing independent and self-directed learning skills
  • Develop the love of learning

Each curriculum area will integrate enrichment opportunities through-

  • External trips and visits
  • Inviting external facilitators and experts in related fields to further engage pupils with the subject area
  • Development of clubs and extra-curricular activities
  • Assemblies and theme days
